Hey Guys, I hope you both doing awesome...You guys know me...Never in my life have I felt compelled to write or tell ANYONE about anything fashionable other than maybe the occasional killer sale. Well, yesterday that changed, and I want to shout it out on the roof tops. You guys have got to put these shoes in In Style--Bare Soles. I found a shoestore that has handmade THE COOLEST AND MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES I've ever seen. I almost didn't go intothe little boutique in North Hollywood because my husband said "Why don't you wait until you get a job before you buy ANOTHER pair of shoes, et hem."...Admittedly, I'd been on a shoe kick (pun intended). Anyway, these handmade heels and wedges are light and have TRIPLE padding on the sole, so you feel like you are wearing SLIPPERS IN HEELS (I'm not exaggerating!). Not only that, they accommodate all kinds of foot issues---besides being designed with the help of podiatrists, they can custom add in support for those with plantar fasceitis (me!) or add additional strap support or basically whatever you need, because each pair is hand made. The other cool thing is, they are all designed with a sexy strappy component to laceup--it can be anything from basic black leather to teal and polka dot cotton, or burgundy laces (like I got!) (There are a ton of choices). You get FOUR lace choices so you can mix and match it for any outfit making it like having four other pairs of shoes--- call it the ultimate recession-proof shoe. It's a (gorgeous) Mom and Daughter team (the return of the Mom and Pop shop!) who run this small shop. The daughter (beautiful and so nice) worked with me for an hour asking me what I had in my wardrobe to find out what color straps would make the most of my purchase. Oh, and all the shoes were under $200 if I remember correctly. The other news for you...Cameron Diaz has bought them, Lisa Rinna loved them so much she bought them for her OWN store in Santa Monica (Grey something)...and Bonnie Hunt just bought some too. Considering how out of the way this place is I don't even know how they found them, but anyway...there it is. I loved this woman, Kate, and her mom is Cissy (who I didn't meet but saw a picture of)...The idea to make these kinds of shoes with the padding and the comfortable straps came to her mother in a dream. This is such a great story, but I'm sure if you simply featured them they'd be thrilled.Let me know what I can do... I'd love to do a mini-story on them... That's the lonnnnngest email I've written in AGES!!! xo, K.
